Despite a 32-0 setback, the Erie Illusion effort against the powerful Pittsburgh Passion last Saturday ranks as one of Erie’s strongest performances in recent history against a Tier I, Independent Women’s Football League opponent. Erie, a Tier II entry in the IWFL, the top women’s full-contact women’s football league in the world, will now face a string of three Tier II teams as they try to fight their way to the top of the Eastern Conference.
The Binghamton Tiger Cats, a Tier II, Eastern Conference foe, will travel to Erie Saturday afternoon to face the Illusion in a 4 p.m....

Are You Ready for Some Football . . . on the Image Sports Network
Monday Night Football is back on your television! All four Erie Illusion home games will be broadcast at 7 p.m. on the Monday following each home game. The Image Sports Network will run its “Monday Night Football” series throughout the Erie Illusion and Erie Storm’s 2010 seasons. Tryouts are ongoing. The tryouts are open to any woman 18 years or older who wish to join the Erie Illusion. They are designed for women who have no, or limited experience with football.
